We are trying very hard to raise and sell the very best worms possible. We feed them a balanced diet so they will grow to be healthy and lively. We have red wrigglers for composting and fishing. These are the most common worms for this aplication, Under the right condtions they will eat there weight in food every day. For fishing they are good for trout, bass,perch,pickeral and most panfish. The euro nightcrawlers are good for composting also, but as far as fishing goes the will catch the larger fish and they are even great iare great in saltwater and for ice fishing Both worms reproduce about the same. We also guarantee live delivery. Euro nightcrawlers are very good composters also and even better fishing worms. The Euros are smaller than the Canadian nightcrawler. The Euros run 4-6" in length and about as big around as a pencil. These worms are also excellant in saltwater and ice fishing. Euros need know refrigeration and will survive Both worms will eat your garbage, such as newspaper, cardboard, pasta, eggshells, vegetables, fruit, potato peels anything but diary products and meat. As they eat your garbage they will turn it into castings, which some people call black gold. This black gold is one of the finest fertilizers you can find. Black Gold provides, nitrogen, potassium and many more nutrients and microbes to your plants. This in turn will give more flowers, brighter blooms and healthier plants. Your vegetables will be bigger, have more fruit and be more nutritious. They will also taste a lot better. The worms are very easy to care for all you need is a bin, some bedding and garbage. The bin can be bought, we have guasanito bins, or you can make one from wood or buy a plastic storage container. The bin should be about 18"X 24" X 8" deep. Driil some holes for air and drill one hole as close to the bottom as you can. This hole is for drainage the drainage is gold worm tea which is excellant on all your plants. You can put a spigot in the hole if you want . I leave mine open. I have the bins raised up on blocks and put a bucket under the spigot. You should have about 4-6" of bedding. The bedding can be moist shreded newspaper, cardboard, lawn trimmings, straw or you can buy some bedding. The bedding should be moist not soaked. Let the worms settle for a couple of days and then feed about once a week. Just separate some of the bedding and add the food. Then cover the food back up. The worms dont smell or bite. If you get a smell your feeding to much. Just hold off on the feed for awhile Both types of worms will eat all your garbage. Therefore you will be reducing what goes into the landfill. If you buy garbage bags thru your town, you will be saving money by buying less garbage bags. We count out our worms,this way when you get them you know you recieved what you ordered We count out our worms, so if you buy 500 worms you get 500 worms. Unlike other Worm Farmers who sell by the pound with the bedding included. How do you know what you recieved? Counting the worms takes a lot more time. At least you know you recieved what you ordered. Worm Farmers say there are 600 to 800 To the pound. Some of those worms are 3/4" long. There should be 1500 worms to that pound. Thats a big difference. When you buy 200 worms from us you get 200 worms.
